Default Minimalist case?

I came from using the Kindle Fire, and with it I used the Marware MicroShell case.

I'm now spoiled by the bare minimal that the Marware adds to the Kindle Fire, and the texture of the case itself (non-leather / non-fauxleather, but rather polycarbonate).

I've been trying to look for something similar, but can't find anything like this. It's either leather/fauxleather (which adds unnecessary bulk), just a hard cover for the back (no flap for screen protection, or for the device to be standalone), or one of those 180-deg. flippers (which adds a lot of bulk).

So, are there any minimalist case that I'm missing / haven't found yet?

HTC makes a plastic snap on back cover: HD C590

Melkco has a snap on hard back and a smart cover type case which doesn't add that much bulk. Search Melkco Flyer. Their cases are leather bonded to the hard plastic back, so no additional bulk from padding. They work well.

There are a few threads about cases on the forums. But I haven't come across a soft-touch hard back.

Not exactly like it, but I bought one of these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/190566393343...ht_2502wt_1141

The quality is great, and it doesn't add a huge amount of bulk. It comes in black or other color as well. For that price, I couldn't complain!

I saw something like that on Amazon (black); I suppose I could try it.

I got one of these:

It took like 2 weeks to get to me but suits my needs. Plus it holds the Scribe inside and not on the outside like the other HTC case.

I'm using the pyroskins. Very happy with it. It's not too big and at the same time I feel comfortable with it protecting my Flyer.
