Question bricked, or broken Galaxy Gio after flashing.

Today I went my friend's new galaxy gio flash, and there is something seriously wrong! All I know is that everything went well, with the odin multi downloader. I mean, I at the end of the flashing, the message "pass" saw. And from then on, you can do nothing with the phone. The only thing left on the screen after booting, are vertical colored lines. The phone no longer charging via the adapter, even with the USB connection. In download mode either. Has anyone a solution or explanation? I already have quite a few ROMs on various mobile phones geflased, that was not always 100% as it should, but there was always a quick solution to this order. But this, I've never seen or read somewhere on a forum ... so I fear the worst ...

Did you follow instructions on http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...&postcount=549 ?

Did you use Odin 4.42?

Is the phone a GT-I5660? (Sticker behind battery) Or a slightly different model?

Can you still get it into download mode?

Regards,
Ruud

I've done everything as it should, it was not the first time I did this. The problem is solved, as I am today with my friend's cell phone to exchange. And lucky he just got a new. But I would just like to know what's wrong.

Just remove the battery and ofcourse the usb cable.
Just wait for about 5 minutes.
Than put the battery back in en go to recovery mode and do a factoryreset and partitionwipe.
If that's not working, do the same thing over again and than try a new flash.

What whent wrong?
Could be a lot of things.
Faulty cableconnection/ kies running in the background ( or sommething else what try to use the usbconnection.

Better is to leave the computer alone during flashing, go for a walk or tiese you gf..............
