Since we're NOT having sources for the bootloader, no one except samsung can tell you what has changed and what not.
But we've reverse engineered this bloody thing and can tell you for sure, that it contains that little green alien everyone was waiting for.
So if you wanna have this little green alien on your phone, flash it!!!
^^ this is my personal opinion and can't be taken as a official statement from the CyanogenMod team.

I'm not sure if will work or what, but I've read a property for build.prop to avoid NITZ.
It's "ro.ril.enable.nitz=1"
I'm not sure if it's real or not, I'm just a normal user, but I've read that on ICS/CM9 for Cooper (Galaxy Ace) and I just want to help

i want to have it, but with the lowest effort. ;)
so if it is possible i would use the simple cwm-way, which means that i don't use the ics-bootloader by now.
i will just try it. hope not to disturb you all with my need for help if i bricked it. )

b******t.
there is one but it's not named this way.
and this is not helpful because this just ignores what's coming into the framework.
but our problem is one level lower.

OMG man. In real life you are just a normal person with a normal life and nobody is interested in you.
Don't think that you can be rude just because some ppl in this scene are looking up to you my friend.

i don't like people who are copying some stuff they don't understand and make other people who don't understand what it does trying it.
read through the last 100 pages, then you know why devs are going away from xda or starting to be rude.
try
ro.no_bugs=yes
if you think you might have found something usefull, have a look at the sourcecode before making it public.
it's simple, easy and doesn't hurt.

- Extract the zip
- Push all four files to /system/bin
- Set permissions (chmod 0777 /system/bin/volumehack.sh)
- Run /system/bin/volumehack.sh headset apply
Note: This is temporary and gets overwritten by the sound driver.
Just as a workaround. We have to fix this damn thing anyway.
