So when you speak of a WiFi error as you did in the first post of this thread, were you referring to an issue such as this, or an initial WiFi error at first boot or start up?

"If you get a WiFi error after flashing, then do the following:
Extract the boot.img from the rom and place it in the same folder that contains your fastboot
Open up command prompt and cd to that same folder you placed the boot.img
Type: fastboot flash boot boot.img
Reboot and it should be fixed!
"

One more piece of info...I am surrounded by WiFi networks where I notice this the most. Could this be caused by channel interference?

Another question...is the video recording resolution 720P in this ROM? I only see High, Medium, and Low in settings. I am assuming High is 720P but I thought that I read that you took the camera from another device's ROM so I'm not sure. Other devices that I have show the actual resolutions.

On a side note; I am so glad that you made a senseless ROM and I thank you! For my purposes sense would just get in the way.
You did install 1.7. I forgot to change the version number lol. And about the wifi, that was only for the htc unlock people. Usually after flashing a ROM they would boot up and under wifi it would just say 'error'. That's weird that you are having connection troubles. Could it just be your wifi acting up? No one else has had that issue that I'm aware of

I'm not sure what resolution the camcorder app records in, I've never been on a ROM that tells the actual resolution. But if i had to guess it would make sense to me that it records in 720p.

I had that wifi issue the minute I upgraded to HC. It's an issue within the OS itself. The only fix I read about was to switch from dhcp to static under settings for your wifi network. Once I did that I stay with a solid connection.

Thanks for the quick reply. My WiFi is solid on the other devices that are connected so I feel pretty comfortable eliminating the router. Plus I just realized, it also does it connected to my Vzn MiFi device so yeah, pretty sure it's not at the router(s) end. I'll assign a static as KB112 suggested and see how that goes. That really won't hinder my setup for the intended users anyway since they won't need to be switching networks. And if they are trying to it's their problem! Thanks to you both!

I'll probably sound like your mother, but... Finish your school!

I'm already happy with a rom without the htc garb... eh... sense stuff.

Haha I know I know..But I actually got it to boot with his kernel except there's one problem. The hardware keys light up but don't work. So if I can get them working and get his permission then expect an update today

I had tried using his kernel before with your ROM and had the same issue. You may want to ask valra what he added to the ROM to get it working. When I tried I grabbed the init scripts and the service.jar

Yeah I replaced the boot.img, inti.d folder, services.jar, and now I'm trying the usr folder. If that doesn't work then I will ask vlara lol

Edit: the usr folder fixed it

Yup everything works so I'm just waiting on approval from LeeDroid for the kernel and j4n87 for the tweaks to disable them
