I installed this over the Serepdipity 7 ROM.

First, or second post, recommends you go back to stock. If flashing over isn't working, and sounds like it isn't,I would do that.

I looked around the thread and couldn't find anything similiar to my problem so I'm just going to go ahead and ask. Stupid question, but is there a .apk package on xda where I can install Swype for texting? I don't see it on Zeus.

You can install swype beta. It takes about five minutes.
