Wifi

My wifi started acting up....first it turned on and when I tried connecting to any network...it took a couple mins then said Authentification failed....then when I rebooted and tried again, wifi wouldn't even turn on I would slide it to on then it would be on then I'd go back then click on settings again and it was off/ Any ideas? (I know your currently working on the camera but if WiFi can't work, this can't be my daily driver because I have a 200mb data plan

Don't fret, The Camera is the ultimate issue with CM9. I also has issues with my Music app not finding my music. But only after the Call Patch. Just orientation, and GPU rendering.

Those make the ROM more usable as a daily. If your a flasher, your used to losing camera

My thoughts are no on this, as the MT4G is a single core to my understanding, and only has 512mb ram, where the MT4GS has a dual core and 768mb ram. Very different hardware specs.

No. Do not. Goto the htc glacier forums. Do not flash a mt4gs rom on a mt4g. They have a much further along ics rom anyways... Our device only looks similar.

Thanks was just curious,after i thought about it forgot it was dual core,well good luck and glad to see someone take the lead and build an ics rom!!!!

Can you try switching off Avoid poor connections in advanced wifi settings? Also try Forget on the added wifi its trying to connect. Another thing: first try switching mobiledata off if its on. I havent got trouble with it yet, except what i wrote in original post. I hope you can get it back.
Was your mobiledata on while you did try?

That wouldnt change much. Noone is obliged to flash it.

The whole stuff is compiled with a lot of linked interdependent libraries, and because of ics based a lot of new calls entered and a lot left. Very few libs can be replaced without making it crash.
