Smile Radio and possible ICS fix.
I read somewhere and can not for the life of me find it that the firmware on our radios is busted from the get, IE signal fail, data loss etc etc. I've had times where I'll loose all connectivity including voice and then it would bounce back. Anyway, the short of it is that our radios when set to 4G will power cycle themselves randomly for no reason. Nothing else just the radio which equals no connectivity for 45 sec to a min. I found a cheap fix by keeping it on 2G only unless I need to download something or watch a video or what have you. Hasn't happened once while on 2G only so that might help for what it's worth. I also have the initial release and pushed the framework-res.apk from the absolution port and have ics animations plus a cleaner grey/blue interface decoration than the stock CM7 black/yellow. Not sure it it'll work on 12/30/2011 but it's worth a shot. Nandroid or backup your current framework-res.apk before you do it though.

+1 to TDJ for all your hard work.

Solid stuff man, solid stuff.

Awesome rom so far! I love what you have done with cm7, I'm still thinking the v12 kernel was smoother but I'm still testing the 12.5 out. I feel like v12 can do no wrong its perfect

I've used several kernels with different roms and as long as the sdk version and android version matches it would work when I mix and matched frameworks. That being said I am 110% capable of being wrong. I will say however that I used the apk from the absolution port not the one posted earlier

I already stated that I haven't. I was simply throwing out an idea. No need for the aggressive use of question marks. Lol
