now that JB source is out. I have modified the power.tuna.so library which removed the stupid HARD CODED values set by Google.

http://faux.androidro.ms/power.tuna.so (compiled directly from JB source)

simply use file explorer with root access of you choice and copy and OVERWRITE the same file under:

/system/lib/hw/power.tuna.so

Now the CPU freq will respect the over/under clock frequencies... Have fun!

on BTW, 019 Beta 17 is out (Fixed HDMI/MHL issues with dock users)

Here's the latest build from Rootz. It's 19b9. The build above is 7 not 17. Must be a typo.

Hey Faux I know you have an extremely busy life and you already do a lot for the Android community but is there any chance of you compiling a "blue" rom if you know what I mean by that?

Can someone help me out. What is the name of this Kernel? This is the 3rd Kernel I've used for my phone, I've always used stock. Well since JB I've been trying out different Kernels. I really like this one, and this is the one I am going to use for now on. Thank you for your time and hard work. My battery thanks you too. After work I usually have 20-40% battery. Since your Kernel(Ultimate SmartReflex Edition) I get about 75% with the same amout of usage.

I just gave the old ICS 4.0.4 version of this a first try on my "new"/"old" Nexus (yesterday) with stock + rooted, and so far I really like that I can now use cifs to get to various disks here and there and also use ipsec VPN's.

Thanks a lot for your work on this. As soon as I read about 12000 more pages of stuff here, I'll move to JB with one of the millions of ROMs around.

Oh yeah: I meant to add that it's really nice using the userspace "echo > /sys/.." commands to do things like enable and disable fast charge when in USB mode. I like the way that works where it doesn't mount up the nexus as a disk when in fast, but as soon as you echo 0 > , it mounts it as a disk again.

Nice stuff.
