Mine will not work, as for some reason I cannot get past the first step, in that I remove the battery, boot into hboot and select Fastboot and it does nothing. It doesn't seem to want to boot that way, just stays there in the hboot unless I tell it to reboot.

When I do, I follow the instructions and when I type in the command into a shell, it just sits there waiting for device.

Any idears?

I love how we're all like kids on Christmas. Hell if HTC would've done this a few days ago ...

I am curious to how this happened.. But I don't want to question a good thing.

When you select fastboot it should just open another menu. You phone should NOT be plugged in until after you hit this step.

Need a brave soul to try it. I will when I get near one of my other phones just in case because everything I do in the car is with BT.
By all means, Nils, keep us posted, 'cause I'm in the same boat with you. I'd rather have an unrooted phone with BT than a rooted one without BT.

Now, I know we wouldn't be able to flash other radios, but would official HTC ones still work assuming they're signed?

Pull the battery
Hold Volume Down then press power
When it comes up use the vol keys to highlight fastboot
Press power
It won't look like it did anything just turns on fastboot

After he posted that it was confirmed that a reboot fixes BT.

The phone itself does nothing once you select "Fastboot". This only allows you to retrieve the token info from your phone and push the unlock.bin file to your phone to flash.

There are fastboot commands you need to type in Command Prompt
Current:
HTC One 32GB
Retired:
Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket
Samsung Galaxy S III
HTC Rezound
HTC Incredible (AMOLED)
