DONATE TO ME
Hi guys,
i tried install CM9 on my folio 100, but it didn't work.
I have downloaded zip file, placed it on SD and used ROM manager.
In ROM manager:
-first problem is when i touch "Flash ClockworkMod Recovery". I have to confirm device model, but there is only 5 devices. Advent Vega, Elocity A7, 2 LGs and Viewsonic.
-When I touch "Install ROM from SD Card" choose downloaded zip, then press OK, after restart nothing happens.

So, I did everythink again by trying each device in "Flash ClockworkMod Recovery".

Folio is rooted. I did it in Z4ROOT.

any idea what is wrong?

EDIT:
OK, now I know that I have to install clockworkmod from this forum and I can't use ROM manager for that.
So, I do this first and then I let you know.

so, now I have installed clockworkmod for folio 100.

I tried ROM manager, but nothing changed. Still nothing happens after reboot.

I tried recovery(clockworkmod) and after choosing correct ZIP file installation started. But after few steps I got error:

assert failed: getprop("ro.product.device") == "folio100" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "fo
lio100" || getprop("ro.product.device") == "betelgeuse" || getprop("ro.build.product") =
= "betelgeuse"

E:Error in /sdcard/update-cm-9.0.0-RC0-folio100-KANG-signed-r2.zip
(Status7)

any ideas?

MiroJ: just read the thread a little bit and you have your answers. The questions you ask are answered in page 1 and 2, if you have any more problems just read the thread more.

Edit: Here a little step-by-step for disabling hotkeys: install robbieone.apk linked to earlier (FolioWidget). Install button saviour from Market.

In button saviour:
- Enable Long Click Trigger
- Disable Vibration Feedback
- Change Auto-Hide to 1 sec
- Change Trigger Icon Transparancy to 0
- Change Sidebar Position to 0

Then after that, add the Folio Widget to one of your homescreens where it doesn't bug you. Click on the widget and change Key sensibility to 0 (you might have to view this in portrait mode since the menus are a bit big).

Pretty much as good as it can get solution for no softkeys.

Really loving this ROM despite a few little problems It's really good for what I use my tablet for (reading Manga, browsing web).

In the system directory at the root. If you are using ES File Explorer you should set the home directory from "/sdcard" to "/" and enable root explorer feature to mod it.
