1. get latest 7zip from net
2. unzip the baseband file, you will get a .tar.md5 file, it's ok
3 load that file as "one package" in odin and start the install as you did with the rom image.
4. the device will reboot, and you'll see the dreaded black screen with android text, but this time the device will no longer restart. give it a minute or two, and you'll see the cyanogen screen. you're now good.

ps: you can do this baseband update even after you got the boot loop, just be sure to start the device with download mode.

You can get all the Samsung firmware versions and flash tools (i.e. Odin) from Samfimware (Click Here).
You will need to complete the free registration before you can download anything though.

With this version I have the same problem that we have before installing the new firmware that is now available from samsung kies, the "Wifi" don't receive the signal from my netgear dgnb2100, instead with the stock samsung firmware this problem were solved, can you do a fix or I have to turn back to the stock?

after instaling ClockworkMod recovery i can not enter in downloading mode
and i don't know how to enter in ClockworkMod recovery (combination of keys)

There aren't combination of keys for enter the recovery, you can boot system and reboot in Recovery or if your phone won't boot for any problem, you can reboot in recovery using ADB.

Is it me or is the camera not working properly on this rom cos when I try and video it shudders(looks like the framerate is losing frames)and sometimes when swiching from taking a picture to video it crashes..??

I've gone back to my official rom now and no problems with it..

One question I do have is:

how do i root it on the official rom..?

Would you try to first clear the application data (Menu->Settings->Applications->Camera->Clear data) and then re-configure the camera app?

This was the only set of instructions and files that worked. I would add one thing to the instructions. Run odin as administrator.
