Happy New Year to all!

Finally 1.3A resolves most of the problems (was unable to flash tar through CWM/Darky app to avoid yellow triangle, CWM flashable zip was what I needed).

However the voltage/UV settings seems still messed up as seen by Voltage control app. It sees lowest voltage against highest frequency and visa versa (lowest frequency seems 1.25v)! It seems to be a cosmetic bug since seeing through 1.2.

Also, Optimus 2x users are successfully overclocking the CPU to 1.6GHz+. Can we try those frequencies as well?

Also, GPU overclocking options can really help improve 2D and 3D performance to somehow go behind the Mali-400.

Happy New Year !!!

First of all, the voltage control app has bug. You can see from the comments from other users that the voltages are reversed in some machines (like Galaxy Nexus). So, please use SetCPU for the voltage control and SetCPU offers good profiling capabilities.

Second, I have been trying to overclock to 1.4 or even higher in the past month, but when I try to OC to 1.4, it become unstable and cause random freeze. Overclock to 1.5 even get freeze right at the moment. So, I think there may be something in the code to tell the CPU to overcome this limit. Or maybe it is the limit of this phone. It would be great if you could have some source codes or routines that give hints for that.

Third, GPU overclock have been proven to have no significant effect on the performance and some said that OC the CPU will OC the GPU as well. Again, it would be great if you could have some source codes or routines that give hints for that.

Thanks.

I did my testing of v1.3A.
I am very happy with it and will keep your Kernel on my device with the KK5 Rom.
Your reaction to feedback with a very fast fix update was perfect service.
Good work, ardatdat! You are our best developer.

Does the Tegra 2 have thermal throttling?
There must be a optimum clock frequency that gives us optimal speed at a reasonable increase of battery consumption/heat/risk of CPU damage.

Still plan to build a custom rom?

The Tegra 2 is designed to keep itself at lower temps to prevent overheating , but I don't know what that feature is

After the update the kernel version shows 2.6.36.4-ardatdat-kernel-v1.3-+ardatdat@work #30.
Just wanted to check if this is how it is supposed to be after the update.

This is my first android phone. Still learning
