Default Dropping signal - Rollback firmware without root?
Hi,

I have an Arc here suffering with dropping signal issues (FW 42, baseband -56).

What's the best way to downgrade (or upgrade for that matter) the software, without the need for root. It's not my phone so I don't really want to root it etc.

Try to use flashtool. Check this thread:

And then flash another firmware. Download *.ftf files from here:

Or use Wotan. They provide a nice software free of charge which does the job for you here (ARC S) or here (ARC).
