adb and fastboot are located in C:\AndroidSDK\platform-tools nowadays, not C:\AndroidSDK\tools

Ah crap, n1newbie already suggested that. Sorry!

That's the only reason why you get your recovery images saved onto your sdcard too when you install a new one.
You don't "lose" your recovery and the problem is he is not able to use fastboot commands at all. So he cannot flash RA either!
Fastboot is completely unrelated to the recovery.

If you cannot get fastboot to work, I would flash your previous hboot via a bootloader flashable zip.
I noticed that ADB interface has an exclamation point on the PC's device manager. So I reinstalled the driver but didn't work initially. After 2 reboots, I was able to get into fastboot mode and tried your suggestions. .

fastboot erase cache
fastboot erase system
fastboot erase userdata

After that, I am now able to access 4ext recovery completely. Problem was with my PC, after all. Hopefully, I can flash new ROM now.
Really appreciate your help on this. Thank you again!

You shouldn't flash it via fastboot if it's not necessary, because recovery won't be setup, so only do that if it IS necessary.
Whenever you install a new recovery via 4ext app it additionally saves your recovery to your download folder on your sdcard.

This should never be necessary, except when you root your device the first time and don't have a custom recovery or you formatted your sdcard and didn't back it up before:

so you can use it to flash the recovery via fastboot in case you need to do that one day.

If you somehow lost those files, there's a direct download for a version you can flash via fastboot.

May I ask why, in the sd card partitioning wizard, there is 341 in the list of sizes for ext? Shouldn't that be 384? Haven't checked what the real size is when chosen though.
