Can you try flashing the stock ROM?

Also you can try flashing the latest ZSKK5 ROM if your stock rom fails?

If you flash stock ROM using ODIN the counter shouldn't increase and now harm for warranty claim.
You can try flashing a latest STOCK ROM..

It does not freeze. It turns itself off. Is the battery full when it happens?

Could be something as simple as a faulty battery.
Try putting another battery in the phone...

Have you tried to boot the phone with the charger plugged in?
Me too I think it is possible that the battery is faulty.

Guys I don't think Battery is the problem.

The battery is ok it's charged.

I observed it today.

No sim... Normal operation

With sim...immediate shutdown

Do you think I should flash 2.3.6 already?

Why not, it is our newest stock rom.
The phone is sim unlocked?

I believe it is sim UNLOCKED I was able to use this fone normally for like 2 weeks with no problems.

maybe it is a intermittent problem to some Tegra2 chipset all around the world..
such as Optimus 2x earlier.. they also been experiencing huge reboot/shutdown problem..
not sure if the problem still there after they got themselves GB update last 2 months..
