[Q] Upgrade Problem: Your device does not support software upgrading via Kies

I have a problem with updating my Samsung galaxy tab 10.1 the firmware that is on the tab is Current firmware version: P7500CEKH3/P7500PROKG4/P7500XWKG1/P7500CEKH3. I get on the begin screen "Your device does not support software upgrading via kies" Have some one a solution for this. Because i get no updates.

Some one an idea?

Can't you update it over the air (FOTA)?

If you check your device and hit software update, it should search for an update.

Samsung Kies often has a weird issues, try to either install Kies again, update drivers or remove old drivers and install again.

I had the same problem. I was stuck at 3.1 and was unable to get the thing to update. It took sending the Tab back to Samsung to solve the problem.

FYI, Samsung warranty service is excellent. The turnaround is very fast and they pay shipping both ways. I have found that talking to an agent is usually better than using their chat support service. The humans seem to be better trained and English is their first language.
