Wink [ROM] 2.3.6 Debloated

What we have here is a rooted, odexed/stock ROM zip. This is for ALL the people asking what is and what is not safe to remove. I have taken everything I consider bloat out and left everything needed for a functional ROM. Only bugs here will be Samsung bugs.

The only thing I added to this was Launcher2 and GB keyboard as well as aosp icons which I like better than the colorful Samsung icons. TW launcher is still there, just thought Id give the option for the more aosp look.

DOWNLOAD
Flash THIS if you want stock Samsung icons and a truly stock ROM. Flash it over the ROM.

Instructions;
If flashing over another Samsung ROM a wipe is probably not necessary, but I would suggest a clean install, formatting data/system/cache and then flashing.

I highly recommend using THIS kernel, best performance and battery Ive seen.

* DO NOT FLASH ANY THEMES OVER THIS! ITS ODEXED AND YOU WILL HAVE ISSUES.

Nice work man. Are we going to see more 'custom' work for you? I'm hoping the Dev list will continue to grow since all the shenanigans have died down.
PHONE: SGS2 'Hercules'
ROM: JB Paranoid Android Beta9
KERNEL: Darkside Venom Alpha7 AOKP-JB #2
MODEM: UVLG3

honestly, im not a dev man. i hate to say this but i think honesty is key to respect around here. as soon as cm9 comes for our device and slayher shares his vendor platform with us, ill do some aosp stuff with features i cherry pick from other peoples repos. itll be a cross between aosp and cm7 with not too many frills.

i posted this to address those people wanting to run their phone "stock rooted with no bloat".

It worked for me. Rom is fast. I really like the rom kernel combo very native feeling right after flash.
I had an issue with getting wifi to connect just like I did when I first un boxed the phone lol when it was stock. I just turned wifi on - then airplane mode - the reboot. airplane mode off re connect to wifi and it worked perfect.
Thank you man I hope to see some more of your work this rom is nice everything is working for me.

Tested MMS images sent to self are not blurry with this stock rom.

Hmmm.....

Thank you for rom . Nice to see variation. Even stock.

Edit:

Also tested MMS pics while in Wifi mode and they are clear.
Able to send and receive pics while in Wifi Calling.

Odexed is definitely quicker than deodexed. Too bad we cannot mod odexed.

Thanks.

Edit #2:

In Wifi Calling mode, pics received are sharp

In 3G/4G mode, pics are received blurry
