i don't know exactly why, but since this commit the UOT battery theme works randomly - ie sometimes the statusbar shows the themed battery icon, sometimes show the original battery

No, they just changed it to end this meme that many people did not understand.
It was a joke at the expense of a person not giving proper credit for using their work.
As CM is getting bigger and more mature, they wanted to make it more straightforward and reputable. Thus the change from -Kang to -Unofficial.

Help anybody.
Did you used some automatic profile app (ex: profile scheduler) ? If yes check their settings. This kind of app have ability to override vibration settings.

If you don't use it please try third party sms app

Got a new firmware update in India for GB. I have extracted the baseband. I notice an improvement in the switching between WIFI & data more seamless with no problems. Fast dormancy problem was seen in V20G (for India) but has been fixed in V20H BB.

Following zip has baseband and the matching RIL:
LGP990AT-00-V20h-ESA-XXX-MAR-07-2012.zip

md5sum: 10dea4dfbf37e120b597d3a3345d6834

End of OT

edit: Updated link to the zip directly

Hi Temasek and All,

I understand there are tons of improvements for the CM7 lately.

But i wonder if the latest CM7 camera quality is also improved... i mean is it have the same pic quality with stock camera on your files ? Or the stock camera still have superior pic quality over CM7 camera ?

Thanks in advanced

It is for flashing using SmartFlash. Just look at threads for flashing using smartflash, should be straight forward. You need to extract the zip into a folder and use smartflash to flash the baseband.

I will be uploading (shortly) nvflash based flashing of V20h firmware for those who almost brick their phones and want to revive it.

Posted the ZIP with nvflash:

Baseband only:

Complete ROM with nvflash binaries and baseband files (baseband flash using smartflash):
