Hey what was the default kernel in RC 119? I tried Etana and my phone didnt like it.

Just flash the rom over ur current (or update, would be best since 119 is a week old) and u get the default kernel. U can also try out tema's kernel wich is a bit OC'd and runs in many phones that Etana dosnt run.

The problem with contacts could be remediade using Go Contacts, althought i still searching an app wich can REALLY FORCE to transform contacts in gmail contats and force to merge any contact with another one. But this is a little off topic.

The problem with cam i still cant solve. Even with Flix mod cam the zoom while recording video doesn't work. Anyone knows what more i can try to fix it?

i found an app which can solve the problem that 2/3g does not reconnect after wifi is connected for a while. it´s called WifiFixerFree, you can get it here:

i found out that some users have this problem and some don´t but it seems to be an android bug, it´s also known in gingerbread and cm7 and over many different kinds of phones from different manufacturers.

so, this does NOT seem to be baseband/ril related. this was my first thought.

i test it now, many folks say the problem is gone with this.

As posted 1000 times here: using the "stay awake" option.....!!! (Settings -> Apps -> Development -> Stay Awake - in German: Einstellungen -> Apps -> Entwicklung -> Aktiv lassen)
