video format on sgs2

Hi all,

i am trying to copy movies in my SGS 2. some of them are quite big (~3.89 GB)
Samsung Kies takes a lot of time converting those video format... (more than 3-4 hrs)

Please provide me a solution for this..

I think VLC player plays almost everything. Then just copy the orig's to the sd card.
Have you considered DLing smaller movie files?
Google "300MB movies".

There are players on the market that can play them back natively if you have enough space, this overrides the needs of converting them.

Players to look at Dice Player, MX, etc, some are free and have trials.

I'm using VLC for android. It is still alpha and crashes few times while watching movie, but it might be because of watching it from network share.
