Default What is the procedure for S-off ?

hello to all
I just bought a HTC amaze replacing my very good Desire. I'm not in S-off, can you tell me how I can do? If I remember correctly, after that I must have a recovery ( Amonra or clockwormod) and finally a rom, correct?

Thank you for help and happy new year
