It's a bug in all ICS 4.0.1 based ROM's and is fixed in the new base, stay tuned for an update on Monday or Tuesday, I want to see what mistakes the other devs make and what bugs come up before I build mine to get it as stable as possible

Hey Jonny, just a couple of observations I wanted to share with you after using both old and new ics.

Rosie scrolling isn't as smooth as any GB rom. Carousel effect harder to achieve. Web page browsing: the fonts are quite small and it takes a while before words come into focus. Weather animations in weather widget resizes themselves. Don't think this is intentional.

There's speculation that HTC will release the official ics version very soon, so you'd better hurry up if you decide to release another version.

I'm back on ARHD 4.1.11 for now. I've got your beats xe mod in place with bricked kernel 1.6 beta 7 overclocked at 1.5. I reflashed Mike's earlier PG58IMG zip (the one from rmk40 dimmed the screen light on 4.1.11 for some reason).

I don't think I've had a better experience with my sensation than with this combination. Not a single reboot and carousel spinning at the slightest swipe.

The timeline my source gave me was an official update from HTC roughly in early to mid February. (Though that may have changed in view of the new leak)
I have also noticed the Rosie carousel and I might try editing the smalli to see if I can get it to go any faster

i know this maybe a noob ass question to ask but ive been seen other roms saying that you must first flash the firmware before the rom but you dont mention it i havent done it and this rom runs perfect except for the wallpaper thing but thats nothing so should i install the new firmware ?and would it change anything?

The firmware flash is for ROM's based on the newer 3.12.401.102 base and it does have to be done.
On this ROM with the current version 2.1.0 it is based on the older 3.06.401.101 base so the firmware flash is recommended but not compulsory.

When I release the new version then the firmware flash will be compulsory

Just super cid and flash firmware bundle. It's painless. There are a lot of suggested alternatives now but it's a lot more headache reading through all that.
