there is no usb mounting in ics - that's an android issue.
it only supports ptp / mtp.

Is anyone else seeing the browser slow to a stop and having to be restarted to connect again?
Everything else is buttery excluding the HD video and camera of course.

I understand that it's mtp only now, but is that working for anybody in this build. Again, my apologies for my ignorance.

I don't seem to have a way to get files from my pc to my Tab...aside from ADB that is.

MTP doesn't work but I use Droid Explorer to transfer files, and it works great.
