Smile Back Cover Stain

So I bought a back case for my Galaxy Tab Plus, a leather book case.
I have been noticing a stain at the back cover. It looks like it was absorbed by the battery cover, I don't know how to remove it. Any help?

Same thing here, tried wiping it off and didn't work. I opted to place a protector at the back to prevent it from getting worse. Will try to clean it up tho, looks ugly...

I wish someone has found the solution...
Do you think Samsung offers back cover replacement? Of course not free.

Some more information might help.

What does the stain look like? Does it cover the entire back of the tablet or just one spot? Is there an odor coming from the stain? Have you examined the case to see if there is any substance that might be transferring from the leather or lining, such as a dye?

Have you stopped using the case? What brand and model of case?

A picture of the tablet back and of the case would be helpful.

It looked like the stain was stick in the plastic. It's kinda black. I still have the plastic on the back, but the exposed part collected the stain. It's like dye transfer

The texture of the case where teh back cover is placed is smooth. It's like matte. I bought a generic case for p1000.

Lesson learned. Cheap and/or generic accessories designed for another model than the one you have should be avoided in the future. Chuck that case in the garbage and contact Samsung support to see if they can suggest anything that can be used to safely remove the stain without damaging the plastic surface of the tablet.

Good thing you kept the plastic shipping protector on there or it could have been worse. Good luck.

Might be cheaper to just get a new case and keep the stain covered up.

The back of mine 7.0 plus is gray not easy to stain, does yours white? What case is the best for 7.0 plus without too expensive? Samsung case is a hard one, I don't like it.
