can't tell you about stock version but oc version is very stable for me, no boot problems, no r-w issues on system, no bsod or sod.

Default Finally working!

Installed the latest clockworkmod (5.0.2.8), installed the latest stable release and...

Its working! No boot problem, no system r/w issues (when using V6 supercharger), and no SOD up till now, 24 hours after installing.

Keep up the good work Vadonka!

By the way, ETaNa app doesn't get installed with this latest version?

Hi Vadonka,

thank you very much for the 03.05. release. I use:

BB+RIL 10d
Temasek Kang 99
Your OC Kernel 03.05.
Antutu CPU Master

And it's greaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat! No problem, good battery, calls work without problem, etc. I love it!

(I saw others have call problems with 03.05. one? Me not)

Best regards

a little question...

in the 3.0.y version... the google's snappy zram conversion, instead of the default lzo one, is used by default when i enable the compcache or i've to do some more (hidden) steps?

It was single, just a fail in the forward porting from v21y. The latest beta work without issues.

Don't know if there ever was a case to close, but it would help to compare the same temps. Chaozbr and I were talking about CPU-temps, while you measured battery temp.

Battery-temp of 43.8 is above recommended temp, btw.

I entered the topic to say this, and I think the phone of the tester friend gets hotter than mine, mine goes only to 40°C batt temp, I only imagine CPU temps.
I'm saying about temps, because many of us, try to use always the maximum CPU clock, and this can make us broke our phones, ofc I can be wrong, because I didn't know too much.

Thanks

DONATE TO ME
Question Crash after entering PIN code (first boot)

I just installed 1205030919-ETaNa_OC_OTF-3.0.y.zip together with temasek's Unofficial CM7.2 RC-99. Everything seemed to be OK, but during the first boot and after entering my PIN code it briefly showed "Unlocking SIM card" followed by a black screen. Meanwhile the keypad turned off, turned on again, turned off, turned on (infinitive loop). After a while i pulled the battery.

Now after entering my PIN code the screen turns black and shows (random) vertical blurred stripes. It does however - after a couple of seconds - seem to boot fine.

Is this normal behavior? It certainly doesn't feel right.

Clockwordmod log (probably not needed, just in case):
