If it is with the new kernel the it may that in tiamat's there is optimized i/o schedule, demand if I am not mistaken, so 4ext should work faster than before.
Phone history: Nokia ---- > Sony Ericsson t616 > Danger Sidekick 2008 > Blackberry 8330 > Droid Incredible 2 > Samsung Galaxy SII t989 > LG Nexus 4

Use minus for 11gb of free storage, instead of dropbox

I'm curious as to whether this could be the issue. Please post what you discover, if anything.

I tried Amon Ra, I tried 4ext, and several different versions of Clockwork, but to no avail.

I didn't know you could format with adb, I only know how to with fastboot.

..Sigh.....Got a brand new sim......Phone is STILL not recognizing sim/registering.
Under about is says My Phone Number: Unknown

Let me ask a silly question.....
As soon as I got this phone
1. I downgraded and perm. rooted
2. Flashed ICS Beta 6

Should I have unlocked the phone before rooting?

You should have sim unlocked with Verizon first. You said you bought the phone from your friend?

I saw that in another post you said that the phone had a "bad ESN". Are you sure you'll be able to get the unlock code?

Yes, it does have bad esn....but since never be used on any cdma network again, didn't think should be an issue.

There are a billion unlock services...so I chose a random one off ebay...still waiting.

Update: I just got my unlock code for $4 on ebay.
Now back to flash ICS Beta 6!!

Edit: stock verizon unlocked worked fine GSM, I made a call and everything
Flashed ICS.....set to GSM only, rebooted and my baseband/imei are all saying unknown now.

Edit2: Im going to say its rom related. I did the fix forgiven90 suggested (wipe cache and dalvik) and now its "working". I guess thats all I can expect until new versions/leak comes out.

I figured out that if you convert your music files to Flac format, they'll sound better and I can go back to ICS by using power amp as my music player. The problem is the files are too big :'( . I'm trying to find srs enhancement for ICS.

Once its compressed (mp3) you can't get "quality" back. MP3 is a lossy format. (thats why their so small), once the musical information is gone, you can't get it back or "up-convert".
Download the original (huge in size) FLAC files (lossless) if you want to hear a real difference.

My music is not reading from my SD at all...when I first put this rom on, they played....but now I guess its having issues accessing the SD card (which shows up fine in storage saying where all my space is allocated to pictures/music/etc.
I hope I don't have to reflash again lol :-/
