Not a noob at all. Fire was stuck at kf opening screen (no animation) and not recogniozed by adb

would this utility have helped?

Hello, I just tried following this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1351914 SwiftKey to activate on my kindle fire.
Have indicated this as the settings.db changes and after a restart depends on my kindle fire start in the loop.
I've now tried to save my kindle fire with their program, unfortunately without success, and I only see the boot logo.

I've used the Kindle Fire Unbrick Utility.
At 1) stuck at boot logo and confirmed twice with y
is only: unbrick kindle in progress and waiting for device

Hat an idea and someone could help me?

Have adb driver again and reinstalled kindle the fire also appears under the Devices and Printers.
When I start up I get KindleUnbrick.bat into the menu and no matter what I select it always comes just "waiting for device".
-- Kindle Fire Utility does not succeed --

Will this work if you aren't bricked just to restore to factory? If so which option should you choose to just set kindlefire back to stock 6.2.1?

If this tool was able to do it, wouldn't I have put an option in? This is for Un-bricking! Not flashing ROMs. Read my original post, and understand what it does before replying, please.

That's a glitch with your drivers, not my tool. What is it labeled as?

I read the op, and I understand what it does do. I just know that on phones I have used the same method to unbrick as I used to flash to stock (ie DroidX sbf unbricks and flashes to stock, Bionic R3leased Root unbricks and restores) I just thought this might work to flash to stock. I'm not a moron.

That being said your utility looks sick. Thanks for the awesome work.

I understand that, but even then, I do have a screenshot of the main menu, which should show what it does. And I know you're not a moron :P
