Lets hope this works.
I disabled my wifi before the 6.2.1 update, and I havent touched it since then. (Star wars!)

So I turn it on today after a bout of month of non-use and just frozen at the logo.
Semi upset since I didn't even touch the thing.

just wanted to say a huge thank you for this.... saved my a$$ when adb stopped recognizing my fire after rebooting into fastboot for a kernel flash. This was the only thing that was able to access the fire so I could bring it back into normal bootmode

Seriously how is any of this a brick? how can you unbrick somethijg that is not bricked? i thought you developed a holographic jtag machine and am disappointed to see more misuse of the verb and adjective known as the "brick"

oh **** i just bricked my kindle when i forgot to lick the peanut butter off my finger and smeared it all over the right middle side of the screen!

Software bricks. That 's what this is for.
Misuse of the word brick? That means unable to function. If your kindle is stuck in a recovery loop, I'm fairly sure it's unable to function.

I guess I take that word too literally -- in the same sense as your woman telling you "I am pregnant" its either your pregnant or your not. and I just see that word be used soo loosely and by everyone, that maybe its time for me to just ignore that word from now on.

Told kindle to reboot into recovery, now it won't boot to anything but recovery. Tried restoring everything. Will this help. Its not really a boot loop. It just won't come out of recovery
