Default Soft Buttons

I am still using the 4.4. theme since it includes the soft buttons, I prefer them despite the so called screen decrease.

Now my question is can I update and install the buttons separate ?.

Yes, there's a separate mod for it you can find in this section. Sorry, don't have link to hand.

It will not work, you'll lose the theme.

Aha, OK. So if you use AOKP rom, you can have the soft buttons and use the theme.
