For some reason my text notifications aren't coming in unless I am on 3rd party app like gosms. Any ideas as to why? Did a clean wipe before install.

Open Messages, go to Settings>Text Message and check that you have the Service center number for your operator. You may need to contact them to check that it is correct. Not sure what else to suggest.
You can try this. Alternatively switch tabs to the Frequent apps tab which will show your most commonly used apps.

I appreciate the help. I went back to Sense 3.6. I really like Sense 4 but sense 3.6 works great fro me. My battery life is draining fast for some reason...I full wiped and didnt install any apps and the battery dropped 10 % in a half hour...Im gonna let the battery drain and then charge to see if that will fix it...anyone else having this problem?

Which Sense 4 version did you try? That battery usage however is not normal
