Default [ROM]Team MarvelUSc Stock 2.3.4, Sense 2.1[Rooted][Apps2sd]- for all marvelc

Housekeeping: If you were directed here by an old link referencing a Stock rom for MetroPCS. That link is maintained on another site. Here's the link:

[ROM]Stock 2.3.4, Sense 2.1[Rooted][Apps2sd][MetroPCS]- Only for marvelc

Ok...
Now for pre-installation advice.

You are going to want to have your bootloader unlocked. Either by HTC's [htcdev.com] method or by some other method. If you don't have your bootloader unlocked; it's pretty much impossible to flash a custom rom. Unlocking your bootloader voids your warranty [1 yr typically], but it opens the door of opportunity. Weigh your decision and make it.
If no, stop reading; if you've unlocked proceed.

Next you are going to want to be rooted. I followed Heritz guide [and installed alquez recovery] way back when, but there are several methods on this as well. Get it done.

Ok... You are almost ready to flash.
Lastly, you need to partition your sd card for use with some scripts &/or apps. There are many good guides on doing this as well. Here is one I recommend:

Ok. Pre-installation is a check. All systems are go. Proceed to flash appropriate rom at your own disgression.

Team MarvelUS is not responsible nor should be held liable for ignorance or bricking your device or pretty much anything. As our roms are freely published, the best we can offer is support and if you don't like that, we'll offer a full money-back guarantee.

I hope to be one of the first to flash this Rom. I'll edit with my results after flashing :)

Posted this in the original thread, and posting here too:

Just an update on this, so I installed the ROM on my wife's wildfire, partitioned SD card and moved Dalvik and apps to SD, installed Links2SD as well, did the same, opens up a ton of space on the phone...I also installed the above mentioned kernel for the phone as well and have it overclocked to 786, however the phone has an issue on wake, it takes a little while to get going and there is always a lag when the phone wakes up. Don't know if its a phone issue or a ROM/Kernel issue, but when you wake the phone up, unlock the screen, it takes a couple of seconds before you can click on anything, and if you tried to click on anything it then tries to catch up.
Phone: LG Connect 4G
ROM: Stock and Rooted VV3
Carrier: MetroPCS
Tablet: Nook Tablet 8gb
Rom: Official CM10.1 Experimental ROM
Kernel: Nook on Fire v8

I changed this thread in anticipation of a newer ROM release. Responded to issue on MetroPCS thread referenced in OP.

Its always been a problem, don't think its been high on anybodies list to track down though.

Default same category

Agreed. Basically in the same category as my Wildfire S gets firecracker hot when charging and using. Welp its about voltage and frequency control. It has to be built into the kernel. The next logical step in kernel development is undervolting. Surprised I haven't seen it yet, but it takes know-how, time, patience, testing, and a kernel built with the appropriate tools. Now that Mindh4x8r has helped everyone with some of the know-how.. We'll see an undervolting guide and kernel emerge... The answer to those issues though lie in voltage control controlled via the kernel.
