I have the dreaded you tube sound crackle since updating to 10.5, don't remember having it on 10.4. Is the kernel the same on both versions?

Should I flash the arakmar g3 kernel instead?

Any suggestions as to how can I flash a new ROM? I've flashed 10.5 over 9.5 after a full system wipe, cache and dalvik. Can't go into Recovery now. How can I apply the NANDroid backup of 9.5 I have?

Halp, pls?

The COM Port Mapping in Odin 4.252 doesn't detect my phone. But holding down volume up + volume down + power + home at the same time for 5-10 seconds eventually brought me to the CWM-based Recovery (5.0.2.8). I can't seem to find info on this, but can I flash ANY rom from here? Anything would work - Eclair, Froyo, Gingerbread, doesn't matter.

I tried copying the clockworkmod backup to the SD card via mounts & storage, but when I tried to flash it, I get this:

E:Can't mount /cache/recovery/log
E:Can't open /cache/recovery/log
E:Can't mount /cache/recovery/last_log
E:Can't open /cache/recovery/last_log
E:Can't mount /cache/recovery/log
...

So, can I flash a ROM through the Recovery mode? :/

Thank you, mate! I didn't knew the right order of pressing the buttons, so I held them all together at the same time. Your advice helped me a lot! I flashed the 10.1 version now and everything's OK!

Big, big thanks!
Advices like yours are one of the reasons I love XDA
