Ainol Novo 7 Aurora (IPS screen).. ICS works very fine on it. I downclocked to 600 Mhz and games still works fine...and no lags in android.
1080p plays fine... cm9 works fine(full hwa), except codecs.

thanks mate since you develop for it i might consider buying one (though i'm kinda low on money:P)

Im so happy to see Quarx helping around forums, its better than a god, does fantastic work and he even has time to reply questions in forum

I will rename his next nightly build to Final Build, I just want to be solved the toogle and some few random reboots

Thanks, but that didn't help. The fonts folder looks the same on Quarx's and Eppy's ROMs. The fonts in the .zip you posted just replace symlinks that are present there on both ROMs.

Anynone could post the changelog for last Quarx build (May, 6)? Or even some impressions from it...

There is a bug in the version of quarx 06.05 / 30.03 & 29.04

The problem is that the "data connection" (2G or 3G) interrupted sporadically.

I see the problem always when no mails were pushed trough at the gmail app.

Also when I start the play store, it says only "no connection"; after rebooting the telephone it is for a few hours okay.

Is there already a resolution for this problem?

It would be so good ROM (even tethering is working), but launcher still resets itself and do not want to stop... As the first thing after instalation I recalled from TB backup my Apex launcher but even this still resetting... Is there any solution, I would use this ROM as my daily system...

O.K. looks I have found solution - I manage to open Apps manager and do reset Apex launcher data. It helps...

Unfortunately, Apex launcher started to resets after installing some apps. I have tried other launchers and at the end found so ADW launcher is working stable. Will see how long...

Yup, this build is excellent except for launcher restarts. Clearing data helped me too though. Video recording works fine, I just recorded a 3 minute video with zero stutters or lags when starting/stopping recording

On my device, I don't use mobile data 3G, but it turns on every time i connect the device to my laptop also every time I switch from "just recharge" to "usb storage".

Touch buttons
They seem to be always switched off, if i set up the display luminosity they light up.

Barcode scanner
I think it doesn't work, I've tried it on a big qrcode on my screen, but I've seen were just some green random spots.

Camera
Panorama provides black screen and video recording crashes on stop.


Facebook contact pictures
The facebook contact pictures seem to be not merged with gmail contacts like in the stock rom, this is a detail not much important.

I really like it and I'll keep it during the week to test it, especially gps navigation, gps track recording, music, multitasking, and the way apps work on it. This is my first try of a custom rom on my Defy+, so if i missed some setting to solve those things above, please let me know. Hope have been useful.

I have worked on the camera in the last few days, and here's the outcome:

• camera doesn't crash on shutdown any more
• no crash on finishing video recording anymore
• barcode scanner and barcoo work
• at least paper camera and camera zoom fx work (not sure whether they did before)
• panorama still doesn't work yet

Hopefully this stuff soon will be in a nightly near you
