[Q] OB get freeze sometimes on 8GB sdcard fat32

hello

i had bought a new optimus black as u know it came with 2GB SDcard /FAT and in this case i never had a problem

after that i bought a new SD card 8 GB /FAT 32 and in this case i faced freezing problem during game loading or system loading also gallery cannot show all thumbnails

tried to change the sd card with another brand and i faced the same problem ... i tried different rom like cm7,nova,stock rom and in all of them i faced the same problem with 8GB SDCARd

please help !!!

What class is your sdcard ?
If is under class 4 that is the problem. You answered yourself when told that tried with nova, cm7 and the problem is still there. Try a class 8 or 10 for best performance.

But I have class 2 16gb memory card...and my ob hasn't freezed not once.
You could try 'sd speed increase' or 'sd booster' from android market, which need root. Set it for 2048kb for best perfomance

Does anyone know which class is the 2GB MicroSD that comes with LG Optimus Black?
Because I'm using it right now and every time I turn on my OB it loads microSD very slowly.. It takes few minutes.. Is it normal?

I'm planning to buy a new microSD for my OB on ebay, What do you recommend me to buy: high class 8GB microSD or low class 16GB?

there's no class stamped on both of my cards 2gb nor 8gb

i tried sd card booster with option 2048 kbps i though and nothing changed

now it only shows checking sd card for errors takes forever with freezing ufffff

I bought a Class 4 8GB microSD recently. I faced the same problem so I sold it to someone else

using class 10 16gb and no problem at all. Have it about 2 weeks already

Using Class 10 32GB about 3 weeks and no problem!
