It also happens when pressing the google search bar - it get stuck, nothing happens for 2 min. and then it gives a message that the "acore" process crashed... and it happens every time I press google search or an app

Not sure why it's been happening for you. Did you try cleaning the app data? I know it can be frustrating; however we need to find out the exact reason why the FC is happening for you.

Before the installation I did a full wipe, so why should I clean the app data?

You should not have to... however, as an added measure I suggested the step.

Did you flash anything apart from the ROM (say a theme)?

Nope, just restored my apps using Titanium...

Try flashing the ROM again after a full wipe and configuring your Emails before you restore your apps with Titanium.

The apps that you are trying to restore.. are they from a Gingerbread ROM?

I faced issue earlier trying to restore apps using Titanium.. and may be you are having a similar issue.

Sorry that you have to go through this again.. but it is to make sure that Titanium is not the cause of the FCs.

Any chance of Stock Theme for 9.6 or any other theme that works with this ROM? I am currently on 9.5 Stock Theme. Great ROM btw! No Issues.

I've found an interesting post here, thanks to VAXXi:

- by editing the build.prop it will default to USB mass storage mode just like it did on Gingerbread, each time you connect the USB cable

9.6 working really great with no issues that I can detect. Installed swype beta from web to get additional input languages. Working great!
