Try ondemand governor. And b6 is already out so why don't u give it a try.

I'm not interested in battery life, just use it as a cell..any CPU changes too,

or go to performance better ?

Then set frequency steps to 500-1200/1400 and also set performance settings in extweaks app instead of default.

If you want to use some other kernel, please read Gabo's FAQ.
I prefer Siyah. B6 just came out.
Was on B5 for 3 days, excellent batterylife. Great performance.
