[Q] new to RAZR, where is FAQ?

New to RAZR as of today. Not finding an FAQ anywhere. Coming from other phones, i have good experience with custom roms, but would like some information that i've seen in other xda phone forums that helped tremendously. If someone can answer these questions, perhaps it will serve as one.


1. RAZR's bootloader is locked. what method(s) can be used to bypass? risks involved.?

2. Recovery, is the normal clockwork recovery available? How to install it? Launched from ROM or hardware button combinations?

3. No removable battery, what are the hard reset buttons (vol up + power?)

4. Custom ROMS, is there a poll so i can see which is the most popular/reliable?


So far i did root. Root here was easier than most other phones thanks to frasertag for putting the whole info from Doomlord and Revolutionary team. I see we have an unofficial bootstrap from the droid bionic. Is that safe for verizon users? does it replace the existing bootstrap? how to activate it? will it allow OTA updates?
