Ok some odd reason, my phone will no longer run ics find anymore. Every Rom with gapps has been flickering and not responding properly. Idk if I miss something but I didn't partician my sdcard and no I didn't install ics roms that needed that. Is there something I dis wrong?

Same thing happened to me a little while, I know you're a flashaholic like me, I believe that all these ROM flashes have got to leave a little something behind, no matter how good we wipe....here's what I did....install Smelkus mod recovery, backup whatever you need to save on your computer...(music, pics, apps) and reformat your sd card erase everything...then I went ahead and partitioned my sd card(follow Mazda's guide) not because you need to, but alot of Roms do nowadays and it doesn't hurt...throw a fresh ICS ROM on your SD card and boot....see if that helps....if not, you probably need a new card

Platypus' Sense 4.0 ROM is amazingly smooth for an alpha. Had it phone and sound, it would qualify as a daily. On his Twitter feed, Platypus said that his new base is even better. Can't wait to see the outcome.

Yeah, I've been watching the thread and am waiting to flash until it gets to the usable stage....sounds good though, what's the camera like on the Evo? And not that I'm bitching...ok I'm bitching...but Platt is very good at what he starts out to do, ICS & the Flyer port, but he works at a very slow pace and it's very frustrating to follow his work, but it's whatev...feel free to drop by and let us know how the port is going and any progress made...thanks man!

Things not working : sound, calls ,holding the home button to see and swipe close open apps, menu button doesn't open settings and wifi. But this is very solid alpha.Lithid cm will soon join Platypus with further development.

To me that's not very functional...hopefully Lithid works on his own port first before getting bogged down with that...we had to cram and jam sense 3.5 on our phones, I can't imagine how bloated 4.0 will be...how much internal space did I have after flashing? Or after gapps?

My card is partitioned, so I had around 200 MB + of free memory. I understand your concerns but I've come across some very rough alphas...especially ICS. Those make this look like a Bentley in comparison. Lol. Also, Platypus said that he will work at removing bloat from his new base. It will get much better very soon. Trust me.

I know, it's just ponderous...I hate when devs release Roms (teases) that aren't fully functional...he worked for 7 months on that Flyer port then Outerdepth took it over and finally finished it...keep us posted though....Sinistertensai posted a guide on how to port Sense 4.0, so maybe before long we'll have more to play with if somebody gets ambitious http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...php?p=26894574

Excited to hear atyoung will be taking over the AOKP builds for Supersonic! Can't wait! This is what I've been talking about for months...with what Mazda and Team D.I.R.T. doing their thing, MazWoz, Lithid coming back, CM9, hopefully Gummy soon, and the LTE port, and now atyoung taking the reigns for AOKP Evo builds. With great devs taking on ICS, hopefully alot of these issues plaguing the Evo will get sorted out sooner than later....ICS..ICS..ICS
