Default [Q] Anyone else have eye problems with this screen?

I've never used a Pentile (or an AMOLED) screen before, so forgive me if this is a common problem... But if I stare at the screen on the SGN too long (i.e. watch Netflix), I see a strange dot-like pattern that sticks with me for while... Then eventually wears off.

It's very subtle, and I mostly notice it when looking at darker objects, or into shadows -- but it ends up seeming like everything I look at has this digital texture on it. Perhaps this is because of the OLED nature of the screen. It's like staring at very tiny, very bright lights in a kind of checkerboard/hatched pattern... It seems to leave an impression on my retinas.

It's bizarre and I was just curious if anyone else was experiencing this?

I have the brightness on the phone set to 70 percent... perhaps I should lower it? (most of my viewing is indoor.)

Lay off the lsd. But yeah lower your brightness. That's too bright to normally view for long periods of time unless you're using it in the sun or a brightly lit room.

Sent from my Nexus in Texas.
