The battery life is fine for how I use thi. But I did purchase this device based on high performance being more important than battery life. Just like cars, hi-perf cars are not economical, especially when it's 100% pedal to the metal when it's running.

it gets me a full day & night of use without having to be concerned enough t keep an eye on the batt icon.

re: the benchmark, lots of variables involved with antutu, hell, any benchmarking of these devices.

but it is a relative scale, so there is something to glean from it.

eh? I've had this Nitro for close to 6 weeks now, rooted and such, been testing a few different set-ups of sw to see how things go with antutu

good question!

-rooted phone
-froze ~40 unneeded apps, deleted the ATT navigator app, family finder etc.
-froze stock launcher and replaced with zeam launcher.

ran antutu.

various antutu scores I've run:::;

6407 hard factory reset, stock launcher with all apps
6452 hard factory reset, stock launcher and debloated

6360 hard factory reset GO launcher with all apps.
6464 hard factory reset GO Launcher and debloated

6492 hard factory reset Zeam launcher with bloat
6528 hard factory reset Zeam Launcher and debloated

this is with a fully charged battery and plugged in to the charger ;)
the score drops with a less than fully charged battery and/or not plugged in to the charger.

I've also run the above with juice defender ultimate, then with RAM manager, then with ram manager and finally with ram manager + JD. Under those scenarios, the scores drop dramatically, anywhere between 400-900 points.

class 4 stock card. I think a lot of the antutu score depends on the battery. i could be talking completely out of my ass but I never could duplicate a score I got with the charger plugged when the device was not plugged in, not plugged in has always been lower for me on this phone.

also, I wasn't hitting these scores when I first got this phone, the scores then were ~150 points less under the same setup(s). I don't know why that is..............

DONATE TO ME
Apparently there's an update to 2.5.4, which is what I just ran and here's my breakdown:

Total Score: 5823
RAM: 1229
CPU Integer: 1756
CPU float-point: 789
2D graphics: 296
3D graphics: 1254
Database IO: 400
SD card write: (4.8 MB/s) 48
SD card read: (15.1 MB/s) 151
CPU frequency: 1512 MHz

I've got Ram Manager running as 'Balanced - Multitask' and SetCPU has the CPU locked Min/Max at 1512MHz

---------- Post added at 01:06 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:56 AM ----------

Just ran it again...

Total score: 6761
RAM: 1415
CPU integer: 2181
CPU float-point: 911
2D graphics: 297
3D graphics: 1256
Database IO: 455
SD card write: (5.0 MB/s) 50
SD card read: (41.5 MB/s) 196
CPU Frequency: 1512MHz

Only thing different this time is I killed all apps (except for antutu and setcpu).
Phone: LG Nitro HD (rooted)
Battery: Hyperion extended, 3800mAH w/cover
Carrier: AT&T
ROM: CM10.1 Nightlies
Kernel: Wind Kernel
Storage: Sandisk 32gb SD
Core Apps:
