Angry [ROOT]Root Transformer Prime on ICS[Video Tutorial][1-Click Script for Win/Mac/Linux]

How to Root Transformer Prime on Windows, Mac, and Linux!

I made a 1-click automated script for all Windows, Mac, and Linux and video tutorials for Transformer Prime ICS. You don't need to install SDK or anything like that, all the files you need are included in the downloads.

Roots, install su binaries, Superuser app, and busybox.

Credits and Huge thanks to sparkym3's code, which the script was based on for 9.4.27 and earlier and also huge thanks to saurik and jason for 9.4.2.11 exploit.

This script fixes the su directory issue, puts su binaries under /system/bin and symbol links /system/xbin, the standard way of rooting Android.

For Windows:
Install USB drivers first: http://transformerprimeroot.com/tran...rs-on-windows/

Then use this 1-click script:

Transformer Prime ICS on 9.4.2.11 and later:
http://downloadandroidrom.com/file/T...RootICSNew.zip

Transformer Prime ICS on 9.4.2.7 and earlier:
http://downloadandroidrom.com/file/T...imeRootICS.zip

Video tutorial for Windows: (9.4.2.11 and later)

Video tutorial for Windows: (9.4.2.7 and earlier)

If you ever run into ADB killing server error, just make sure kill any processes that start with "asus" in Windows Task Manager as it will crash with adb while rooting.

For Mac or Linux:
You don't need drivers, just download this and run runmelinux.sh or runmemac.sh:

Transformer Prime ICS on 9.4.2.11 and later:
http://downloadandroidrom.com/file/T...RootICSNew.zip

Transformer Prime ICS on 9.4.2.7 and earlier:
http://downloadandroidrom.com/file/T...CSMacLinux.zip

Video tutorial for Mac or Linux:

If you are having trouble on Mac/Linux with permission errors,

try doing:

Quote:
chmod 755 *
to set all files in the directory to execute.

or try running as super user by doing:

Quote:
sudo -i
For Mac, you will have to download adb off Android SDK and copy it over to adb-mac as I don't have a Mac and found out the one I uploaded is actually for Linux. Oops. But it should work fine.

Don't thank me, I just made scripts and tutorials. Thank the guy who found root first.

No bootloops on this script! Worked the first time!! And A video to help you through the process! This is how it should be done instead of explaining in words. Much easier to follow when you see and hear how to do things..
Thanks..

Oh sometimes when you unzip files, the file permissions get messed up.

Try:

chmod 755 *

in the directory to set permissions to executable then run.
