Steve believes that CM9 has dalvik pointed to /cache/dalvik-cache, but we need it pointed to /data/dalvik-cache


Steve has his copy of my ROM booted after messing with some stuff, but it has lots of FC issues.

Glad to hear Steve is back in action. You guys are awesome and thanks for the continued support. I get a little fifty knowing there is something around the corner!

Its okay, don't worry about camera for now.
Basically I am trying to get init.rc to be looking at /data/dalvik-cache and then once I get it booted, all the stupid FC errors.

Hopefully Steve will be getting back soon.

Is there any working image to get my european 3G model working again?
with a nvflash package i found some post ago i downgraded to 2.2.2

I don't get an OTA update, so I wanted to flash the lastest recovery and rom from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki...eak_7#Official

I first flashed the recovery but when i go on upgrad via SD card the device stucks.

can't get it working. I want to sell it

Update: I'm currently running 2.2 and wanted to update via this page http://mobileupdate.dell.com/?version=GLUNB1A234000
after I start the update, I get this message: FOTA Model Name Missmatch

I finally got a working stock HC with these steps:

1. flash this nvflash package found here: http://www.tabletroms.com/forums/hon...ial-3-2-a.html
2. flash latest EU 3G recovery and rom found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/Dell_Streak_7

Now everything seems to work right again

I just changed my agreement with T-Mobile on my Streak 7. Even if 4 G was available with this rom, I could not get it where I live. So they were nice enough to rearrange my contract. Now I have a freed up Streak. It is totally available as a test Streak to use as a tool. Please keep this in mind. I would consider even sending it if that helps in developement.

I noticed I was quoted on tabletroms? I've never had any Mac address issues.

It is amazing how folks don't put forth the effort to read and research before they attempt any of this!

How is your cross-referencing of the .lib's coming along? Let me know if any help is needed.
