BUG - CM7 Unofficial Nightlies

Slight issue I believe with the latest version of CM7 as found here

Have been using these builds for a while without any problems however after flashing the latest 20110113 build I decided to give cm9 a go however there seems to be an issue with CWM, after selecting a zip to flash I know only get 3 options Yes to flash, No or go back rather than the half a dozen no's and a single yes and when selecting yes it just exits back to a menu like if no was selected.

This hasnt been an issue on the previous builds so I guess its something that been introduced, can a copy of CWM just be flashed over the top using odin and download mode to fix this?

Try selecting 'Yes' with the Power Key, and if it doesn't work, then with the Home button. I experienced a similar change when CWM updated to 5.5.x that is present along with the CM9 builds.

Sorry perhaps I wasnt totally clear, ive been unable to flash cm9 im still running 5.0.2.7 CWM, have just done a full permission reset and tried both home and power keys and neither worked

Also just tried a dalvik wipe and that does the same thing so it would appear the are you sure confirmation window is the bit thats screwed, the CWM log doesnt show any errors so its not broken as such

Oh would also like to add that a nandroid restore also isnt possible due to the same isse

I will give you a zImage, that can be flashed via odin/heimdall to get you up and running

Using ODIN does the zimage go into the PDA section as normal?

Ok so ive got the image have got odin and heimdall and im in download modewhat do I do with the image file as neither odin or heimdall will allow me to load the file does it need to be zipped or something?

you could also flash siyah kernel from odin. then you will get a new recovery that comes with the kernel.
