In the Speech Recorder apk 2sets of options are seen. one PCM/16bit/11HHz & PCM/16bit/8KHz and the other "call..."Utterances,Utterances"dial NANP",Utterances"dial NANP PAIRS" & Utterances.What are they?Whether any one is related to Call Recording

Having issues with the flash not working

-DOES NOT work caturing stills and not able to turn it on
-Works while recording video

Anyone else?

i don't like the official CM9 boot animation. How i wish we can just replace it with this simple & elegant still image.

I like the animation very much.

But isn't it possible to change the animation via recovery?

Just flashed it and the hardware keyboard layout changing works now - thanks again to everyone who contributed to this fine piece of software!

Description:
This one differs from the previous update package in ability to apply themes. Hence, the ThemeManager, ThemeChooser apps and overall system support to theme have been removed. I doubt that simply placing those 2 apps back in system would allow for themeing capability.
The reason for this is performance. It seems that CM9 started to behave worse in that matter after themeing capability has been added so this is to verify it. Feel free to test. If you notice something important (really important, not importner) I guess it could be usefull to report it.

Removed themes support
Settings: updated Italian, Turkish, Hungarian, Russian (CM9 settings), Hebrew
InputManager: Add system setting to define keyboard locales
Added Toggle2G built from source (app no longer requires root permission)
Keyboard: Add Czech QWERTY, enable predictive dictionary, missing hungarian traslation
Keyboard: enable character map option for the hardware keyboard (qwerty, qwertz, azerty etc.)
New data usage modules
Replace Music with Apollo
Fix crashes on video playback
Fix restoring network mode preference on reboot
Updated Terminal
Updated Toggle2G (v. 0.2.5; built from source; doesn't need root perm. any more)
Video recording: indicate frame drops by red LED
Support weather forecast on lock screen
Keyguard: Turn lock-before-unlock into a user-configurable setting (Showing the unsecured lock screen (Slider/widget screen) before the security screen is now a secure Setting (still defaulting to off))
DSPManager: Update equalizer for channel independence, Improve headsetfilter's primitive space simulation, addes Finnish, updated Italian
Camera: added German
Vibrator/airplane overrides:
	Add vibrator overrides for ringer and notification:
		* enable
		* disable
		* only when silent

		Add airplane mode overrides:
		* enable
		* disable
Some other updates, fixes and optimizations

Thank you dear mrvek.I flashed this build yesterday and found that the performance is much faster than the previous one.And of course fewer force stops and reboots.. I found one thing peculiar.The sound recorder apk(introduced instead of the Speech recorder in the previous build) is not showing in the Application Drawer.But it is there in the Application Management Menu in Settings.Hence I can't open this apk.One thing more.In the Home Screen the Google Search window is glued permanently.The hard ware Search button also serves the purpose.So how can I remove this Search window there by saving some space in the Home Screen.As this window is fixed permanently it cannot be dragged to the red removal box.Please offer a remedy for these two things.Once again with a lot of thanks,

True, i am also missing recorder. do not know why.
Anything on your homescreen is responibility of launcher itself (mostly) so you should check in launcher settings to configure options. You haven't said what launcher you are using.

Thank you dear mrvek for the instant response.I am with the official "Trebuchet" launcher.In it's launcher settings no provision is seen for removing the permanent or movable widgets or windows from the Home Screen.
Coming to the Sound Recorder is it feasible to uninstall the apk from Managing Applications Menu in Settings or using Titanium Back up and installing a third party Recorder apk?In that case which is the most apt one suitable for the ICS Milestone?
One thing more.When opening the Phone Portal a message "Unfortunately Phone Portal stopped working" appears all the time!Is there a way to get it functioning?

1) when resume from stand.by the connection appear on but no data transmission is possible.
2) change user agent for mms not possible yet.

1) I experience this as well. Data appears to be OK but no data connection can be found. I have to do the airplane more trick.
