Default [Q] Data drop?

just want to know if anyone else has or is experiencing this..

lets say i turn off wifi and im on the move and i receive or make a call.. after a few mins if i want to check a site while on the call or what have you.. i dont get data.. in the right corner the signal is grey.. can anyone explain or tell me whats going on here?

im on rogers and i know i should be able to talk on the phone and browse the net at the same time.. but this isnt the case.

It happens to me. Unlocked and rooted running stock rom. Hopefully it'll be fixed in an update. Doesn't happen often but toggling airplane mode usually let's it reconnect or a reboot. But I believe its a known issue.

The signal bars being grey doesn't mean you don't have data.. it means you aren't syncing with Google services at the time...

It definitely drops data when they grey out. Any app that needs internet will display no connection.

No it doesn't.. greyed out bars mean you aren't connected to Google services but data doesn't drop. I have grey bars all the time.

You're mixing up the cause and the effect here. The bars are grey because you dropped data and are no longer synced to Google (or just do not have background sync on, etc.).

clearly its a problem that i hope they fix....the bars are grey and u dont see 3g or h... if you open the browser or any app that uses data it doesnt work..

As above you.. the bars greyed out because you lost data.. Grey bars with a 3 or H symbol mean you aren't connected to Google services.
