AOKP is based on CM9, so deep bugs that exist in CM9 also exist in AOKP.

Radio and HDMI doesn't work in CM7.2
Radio and HDMI and other minor bugs doesn't work in CM9
Both versions works fine, but CM7 is more stable and less battery drain with nightelf kernel.

FXP CM9 kernel don't support undervolt, and I ask FXP for support it . But you can do it with Incredicontrol, you can download it from play store and you can change voltage for all freq and battery drain will be better.

This is with CM9. FXP122 worked well. Had a couple of bugs, most notably call volume (haven't tested if it's fixed on 123 yet) but the only problem with 123 really is with the black camera preview and I expect that will be fixed fairly soon.
