Unhappy Headphones Warranty?

Hey guys.

My mom recently got a Sensation XL, and her not being a huge music lover, decided to gift me her headphones
I am using them with my SE x10 and yesterday, while listening to them, I received a call. I unplugged and answered. When I had finished I plugged them in again and resumed listening to music. However I discovered that the right headphone had practically stopped working (very low sound). It is very annoying and I was just wondering is there any warranty on the headphones? Normally I wouldn't be bothered but these are very expensive headphones to buy and you would expect a hell of a lot better build quality than to break after under a month..

So if anyone knows of any warranty regarding the headphones, please reply! Thanking you,
Cian.

warranty is thru your phone provider primarily but headphones get a 1 year warranty.

Monster themselves, after the space of the first year are kind enough that they will replace the headphones once, no questions asked, but a receipt is needed ( i dont know whether the phone contract will work in this case, as you have been "gifted" the headphones by HTC rather than purchase them yourself)

oh and also just for a heads up, monster are a great sounding headphone, but even the £349 Pro headphones they make in the beats range, are prone to being faulty.

I work at a retail outlet and over the last christmas, Beats by Dre were probably returned 1 in 10 purchases as faulty. Most of the time this was a problem caused by the wire itself rather than the headphone driver.

urBeats, similar to iBeats but as far as I know you can't buy them, they only come with some of the latest HTC phones !

I had the same problem as you, called my phone provider and they send me a new headphone immideatly. Very happy with my new headphones, went from urbeats to a headphone! Very happy with it, came in a nice pouch, cable detachable, very handy to store it when not listening to music!
