Just to let you know, the files I used to fix the funny SIMs should be pushed into the regular CM7 soon, so if you are preparing your work for inclusion in CM9 you should consider adding them to your main ROMs already

For CM7 you just need to replace the files in the above zip, edit the build prop to remove the two ril related lines and you're done, but you should test if the same works in CM9 too...

Oh and for anyone thinking of trying the above fix on CM9 it probably won't work since it replaces the build.prop file and may delete some settings necessary for CM9...

Can someone tell me if whatsapp or viber works in beta4? I'm thinking to switch to ics for daily usage and getting back to gingerbread downgrading the radio pisses me off . BTW Lupo and Arjen amazing job kids

IF it works without problems ... espacion already lowered and no problem with gapps

i used whats app today and it worked perfectly, about viber it didnt find any contacts.

i dont know if anyone has this problem, sometimes when i try to listen to some music files my music player blocks and shuts down, the file is working because i used to listen to that song before i dont know if there is some problem with the codecs or smth like that :s

Are you using old baseband? That may be the problem.
