Just trying to learn something here, but what is the significance of "dalvik-cache moved to /data/." If I try to wipe dalvik in recovery, will it find it to wipe it?

There is more room in /data. And yes it has a sym link so wiping will find it

coming from another EL29 rom, I did a full wipe of everything, then flashed this rom, and phone locked up completely; had to re-root and restore..
Normally, moving from one EL29 Rom to another, I would just use Caulks Modified wipe, and flash the new rom...which is what I probably should have done.

Has anyone flashed this coming from another EL29 Rom, and what process did you use?

I was a big fan of RUJelus22 in the HTC EVO days, so I am anxious to check this out..

On call's 2.8.1, used his format zip, and flashed kuban. Everything seemed to work fine for me.

I just use the format all zip. If you wipe it should not matter what you are coming from.
