Unhappy [Help] SGP 4.0 won't root?

I thought I had rooted my SGP4 earlier using Steves method but when I download superuser it doesn't work and tried a 'root checker' from the marketplace and it said that I wasn't properly rooted. I used his .tar file with odin and when the SGP rebooted it showed the little android in the corner with his name on it but it still wont work.

HELP?

Heres what odin says after its rebooted.

Not sure if his kernel autoroots - a lot of kernel developers removed that feature because it often caused problems with superuser/su updates - flash ChainsDD's superuser package in CWM.

Google "ChainsDD superuser"

Did you root our device first using something like Superoneclick? After you root your device, then you flash with Steve's kernel using Odin.

Rooting is not required to flash anything with Odin - in fact on many devices, rooting is only possible using Odin.
